In order to locate the exact spinal misalignment that is causing your problem, precision laser aligned digital Spinographs (x-rays) are generally taken on your first new patient appointment. Additionally a neurologic, orthopedic and musculoskeletal exam is performed at this time. Analyzing these Spinographs allows the doctor to determine the location, direction and severity of the misalignment.
Initially, we take only the minimum number of x-rays needed to determine if we can accept your case. Additional Spinographs may be necessary after you become a patient.
Since this is a very specific procedure, the Upper Cervical Doctor will need time to review your exam and x-ray findings. Before receiving an adjustment, we will schedule a second visit known as the Report of Findings visit.
